Hammer Curl to Press (Dumbbell)

Hammer curl flowing into an overhead press. Combines biceps curl with shoulder press in one continuous movement.

  1. Stand holding dumbbells at sides with neutral (palms-facing) grip
  2. Curl dumbbells up to shoulder level keeping palms facing each other
  3. Rotate palms forward and press dumbbells overhead
  4. Lower dumbbells to shoulders, rotating palms back to neutral
  5. Lower dumbbells to sides with control
