Lateral Raise Standing Bent Arm (Dumbbell)

Standing dumbbell lateral raise performed with bent elbows.

Technique

  1. Hold dumbbells at sides
  2. Slight bend in elbows
  3. Raise arms out to sides
  4. Lift to shoulder height or slightly above
  5. Lead with elbows not hands
  6. Lower with control
  7. Don't swing or use momentum
